Here at Wicked Good Ice we are committed to protect and preserve our environment.  “Many hands make light work” and we believe that everyone can do just a little each day in order to create a positive and lasting impact. Our Studio has been improved this year with the addition of upgraded wall insulation, door and window seals and all new energy efficient lighting. Our New “Norlake” walk-in Freezer is the latest in refrigeration technology replacing an older less efficient unit. We have installed the condenser unit indoors, this allows us to recapture the heat from the unit and heat our entire work and storage areas with NO additional energy usage. We have created a system for utilizing our “waste ice” or trimmings by diverting them into a melting box that feeds the gardens surrounding the studio, saving valuable water. Our new “unplugged” sculpture selections are another way we have found to “create global cooling”.
